CSSL23 / FAQs
Does CreteLing provide recommendations for accommodation?
No. Since Rethymno is a well-loved tourist destination you will easily find a wide variety of places to choose from. It is advisable to book your accommodation soon after you complete your CreteLing registration.
On what grounds are the grants given?
CreteLing grants are merit-based and dependent on your CV and reference letter. Unfortunately, we do not have nearly enough grants for the number of deserving students that attend every year. We try to compensate by keeping the tuition as low as possible.
How will I know if I got a grant?
It will be mentioned in the acceptance letter you will receive.
What do I need to do to get a Visa for traveling to Greece?
You can find the visa requirements in
https://linguistics.philology.uoc.gr/cssl23/useful.php
In order to get a visa you first need an invitation letter from us. To get it, you will need to download and fill in the form provided in the link above, and send it back to us at
creteling@gmail.com
, so that we can send you the invitation letter.
Does CreteLing provide certificates of attendance?
Yes, we do, during the 2nd week of the summer school. We do not offer grade transcripts; the courses are not graded. If for any reason you need us to send you the certificate of attendance by mail, please contact the CreteLing administration office at
creteling.ao@gmail.com
Does CreteLing offer ECTS credit points?
